LIGHT Bearers of the World (formerly People Of Expanded Thoughts) is a community of spiritually aware people that gather to support each other with our hearts and minds.

We have been meeting every other Tuesday evening beginning November 28, 2006. The gathering runs from 7:15 PM to 9:00 PM PST. We are located in Irvine in Orange County, California, San Diego and Phoenix, AZ (Future locations will be added as the community grows.)

LIGHT Bearers of the World is a safe, loving and nonjudgmental arena where conscious people of expanded thoughts can come together and share their ideas in a space of complete acceptance. There is no bias, we honor diversity and espouse to unity. We are the embodiement of the Universal Consciousness.

Our VISION for LIGHT Bearers is to encourage small gatherings so that all in attendance can participate as they feel comfortable. There is no fee to attend a POETs gathering.  We would like to see the groups maintain an average attendance of twelve (12). When a group consistently exceeds this number we will ask for a group member to volunteer as an assistant organizer by providing a meeting location where members living close by will be able to gather and support the new LIGHT Bearers location. As additional groups are added we will sponsor community social gatherings so everyone will be able to come together to visit and enjoy a special activity. 

LIGHT Bearers of the World also sponsors classes by members of the group that are qualified to assist others in their particular field of expertise. LIGHT Bearers teachers will be listed in the Teachers section of  What Do You Love.

Each LIGHT Bearers gathering has a Faciltator. The facilitator is responsible for calling the meeting to order, giving group announcements, setting the theme and providing an agenda. The position of facilitator rotates among the members of group (if they so desire) so that all have a chance to facilitate.  The group will gather in the round so that everyone is visible to each other and there is no designated lead position. We are all equal and we can all learn from one another.
